I had to take Brae to the vets tonight I was out in the garden and I took Brae out on his harness like I usually do for a few mins. He was ok running around and then suddenly he rolled over on his back...he normally rolls around so I wasn't too concerned at first. Then I noticed when he got up again he couldn't walk properly. His legs were going everywhere. I picked him up and his head ...

I had a female gerbil and she was VERY hyper and disliked being handled. She would come up and lick my hands, but she hated being handled. I was reading something and it was 50/50.Some people said females were more dominant, yet more calm (mine wasn't) and others said males are the calm ones....

An online friend of mine has a ferret, and she had a question that I'm posting for her as I know nothing about ferrets. He is allergic to his food and gets a lot of ear infections because of it, but she hasn't been able to switch him over to a different food. As far as playing the tough love card, he's gone 3+ days without eating the new food, and throws hissy fits and gets very ...

Shoe got up to four eggs and finally seemed conteneted. A week ago I tried removing an egg and feeding it to Jormunger. He loved it; she laid another egg! So I left her and her eggs alone, until yesterday. By then she seemed to have lost all interest in the eggs, prefering instead to sit on the top perch and screech at Baldy. So I took another egg out. No new eggs today. Fingers crossed ...

For the last few months we've had 2 of these beauties hanging around the house and we've been watching them grow because although toxic if ingested neither dog would go near one anyway and we don't have any flower gardens for them to ruin.... I never worried about killing them because when I mow the yard they are usually smart enough to chill on the side of the house vinyl siding or up...
