Some people really should be culled. We walk our dogs, on-leash, in an off-leash area. (a) Even off-leash they are supposed to be under control, and (b) it's extremely hilly so you're safer up there than in "leashed" areas on the flat where every dumbass has their dog off-leash. Twice when William was walking Bronx (American Bulldog) when I was at work he's had run-ins with ...

I am in tears right now. I was taking Flip for a walk and this Airdale Terrier came charging out of a garage and went after Flip. He grapped at her side and was shaking her round. I was kicking the dog so hard to get off but it wouldn't until the owner came running out. Flip was just screaming and peeing all over the road. I checked Flip over and she has 4 bites on her stomach. God I am so ...

So I went to the county fair and entered Lucky into the dog show. I entered him in Most Appropriately Named. My sweet man won first place for that. I showed them the picture from when I found him. They take all the first place winners of each category and enter them in Best of Show. Well he won that too. I am so proud of my boy. My Trophy Dog!!! ...

Coco's always had some "seperation" issues from Andy and she takes it out on the other dogs, well Andy's been gone alot lately because of this 2nd job he's taken up on the weekends-we barely see him. So anywho, our shower doesnt work so i've been taking baths at night, I always leave the door open so the dogs can come in and out and I can hear if there getting into mischief. ...

I don't even know if there is a point to this thread..but it is just something that irked me yesterday. Who gets left behind? Storm dogs at risk. (From Bad Raps Blog) We're watching the hurricane rescue efforts with nervous interest. Should we go? Stay home? In preparation for what could* be a very damaging storm, hundreds of helpers are pouring into the gulf coast to help animal victims at four rescue stations. Well done, animal orgs. But an announcement that went out on the SAWA...

So...remember this thread? http://pets-n-people.net/vb/showthread.php?t=6305 I made the long trip to Gainesville yesterday and spent some time with this lady and picked up two fosters. I'm fostering them through Lost Angels. She still has a lot of dogs there but Lost Angels may pick up at least the puppies...the four females, plus she has a golden retriever mix litter that ...

I put an ad on craigslist a while back for some socialization help. Since I live in a small town I wasn't expecting much of a response, but I got one. This girl named Katie has some dogs and she has been in training with them. She works at a vet office and is very nice. We both use the same training methods which rocks. She is going to help me work with my dogs. I'm so happy I ...

http://www.itv.com/Lifestyle/Dogs/default.html Did anyone in the UK catch this? I really enjoyed the program, it was fascinating seeing the wolf man living with a pack of wolves, he sure was brave though, at some points I was worried he would be attacked! The terriers getting the rats was also interesting, amazing seeing the little dogs doing what they were born to do ...

Maggie didn't get adopted today, but guess who I got to see? MY CALISTA! She was the mangy pup I picked up right before I went to TX. She is in the best home ever, she looks great and is just a wonderful little girl. I barely recognized her...she's filled out great and almost looks like a little bulldog now. I guess she does have a lot of issues though...her hocks aren't ...
