I would't try doing it by yourself just by referring to what we say on the forum. I would call your service company and have them show you how to do it. Editing through the Ruby can be tricky, and you can really screw up the softkey file. If you use SMS then it's
a little easier, but either way you need to have a tech show you how.

ok. so that was a little hard to understand.... lets see.... 2 hi-lines with ts-1000, how old? has it worked in the past? If new, check your jumper settings. If it is older, and has worked before, losing communication and also not printing, I would suspect a
bad memory board in the pam 1000.

Chances are that USB 2.0 has been disabled for a reason. I would leave that turned off if I were you..... Okidata B4600n manufactor part number is S6620251,
Gilbarco Part number is a PA03400017...... And yes any windows based printer should funciton properly , but now ask yourself this, is the unit still under warranty.....

You dont need to upgrade the pinpads on your dispensers unless you wish to continue to accept PIN debit. Regardless of which route you go you will need to upgrade the inside pin pads.

1. Make sure of the version of firmware in the Pam5000 - needs to be 410-27-1.05 2. If your firmware is at or above this version, then I can only recommend you removing your DCR's from the Pam 5000 and using a D-BOX. Crinds are not supported on a Pam 5000 for
Verifone products.
