lab rescue in atl and lab rescues are posting to each other because we are all so over burdened and full ~ too, the fact that jack is a senior does not bode well for him in a shelter setting and the reality is seniors often get passed over by prospective adopters, as do ...

I am a volunteer for a small
Basset Hound rescue serving Oklahoma and southwest Missouri. We are in a dire situation.........all of our foster families are overflowing. Unless we can get more foster homes in MO, OK or even KS or northern TX we will be unable to pull and save dogs.
If anyone is interested or has ideas, please post and I'll respond as soon as possible!

Oh, wait. I see him now. Very handsome, but that's a nasty cut.
Poor baby.

I am not sure I understand - did she wake up one day, when the dog had started to grow, suddenly realize it was larger and have a

backyard breeder near me. She has at least 27 dogs mostly maltese, schnauzers & yorkies. They are kept in a separate building with floor to ceiling cages but are allowed to run loose all over the room where they're kept. Their potty area is a child's swimming pool in the middle of the floor filled with newspapers. The smell...

Valiant and Spike - RIP, you'll be loved in heaven.
Why heartstick? If they're sedated, what's the advantage to this as opposed to a needle in the vein? Less time to actually
administer the fatal shot? I just cannot get it through my head why any vet would choose this method unless it's just less personal than touching a paw or just faster for the vet. (May such a vet rot ... )
