I saw a back yard once that was set up for cats. 8 ft close mesh fence with a 1 ft section at the top slanted back in to contain the cats. It looked a little like a
supermax prison yard, but it was effective. They raised show cats.

Maybe she'll be happy to have the house to herself?
I don't let my husband take care of any of the really important visits to the vet. Or, if I can't be home, my vet will call me at work and tell me everything she told him. Because she knows him....LOL

I was lucky enough to spend time with these 2 cats at the shelter today. Despite their very long time there, they are both staying
upbeat and hopeful. Which makes me even more hopeful for them. There are many kittens coming up for adoption soon, which will be good for the kittens, but not so good for poor Lilly and Socks, who I fear will be overlooked yet again for the smaller, cuter kittens. I ...

I start with the assumption that anything put out by PETA is drivel, created by people with a slipping grasp on reality. They have a world view that just doesn't seem to match reality, and a set of actions that seem more designed to promote them than a cause. Any"
animal rescue" group that kills as many animals as they do needs to redefine their mission, or change their actions.
Actually...

You might have to become a political activist and change the makeup of the county board. They are often refuges for the "
good old boys" and their relatives.
They may respond to media pressure, but voting them out seems to work well.
If you notice, they frequently run with no opposition.

Fancy Feast canned helped my overweight
diabetic cat lose weight and weaned him off insulin. (And cutting him off from dry food altogether - none, zip, zero dry food.) He successfully maintained that for about two years until an unfortunate need for steroids which brought the insulin dependency back. (Hoping to reverse it again once we get him off steroids.)
Anyway, FF grilled, gourmet or ...

I have been honored (and blessed) to have been associated with the wonderful
Grayson Humane people for over two years now, and from my recent working vacation there, I can attest to the fact that every critter in need of vet care is given that care, and without concern for the cost. Love is not measured in dollars. In the short time I was there, I made two trips to Glasgow (an hour and a half ...

It sounds like the dogs are outside animals, too.
I wish people could be forced to live how they make their pets live for a few days.

He needs locked up for the rest of his life. Well personally I think he should have done to him what he did to the poor defenseless cat.
