Holiday Season

This is the part of the year that I hate the most. You can barely go anywhere without some mental midget getting in your face and screaming, "Happy Thanksgiving!" or "Merry Christmas." About the only thing that I like about the holidays is being with my family, having a nice dinner, and watching a little football. If I ever have to leave the house, I make sure to bring some Tylenol with...

Racism Interesting. Many of the repubs argue here that racism is natural. I have no doubt that the ones arguing that point find gay love unnatural. So to them, hate is natural but love is abnormal. Weird.

Newspapers are wasteful and cause added recycling chores. Basically they've become a critical part of the electronic media. I wonder if you're thinking your posts through, or if you're just here to amuse yourself at our expense.

You make it sound like there is a ‘right’ side to the argument. Both sides are ‘wrong’, and neither side wants ‘peace’. You can pray for the day when there is no Judaism and Islam, and as peaceful a world as that will create; they will still be killing each other over there. North and South Korea will come together as a unified country long before we ever see peace in the Middle East....

This Oliver Stone movie got too real with journalistic ethics, the ravages of third world dictators, the involvement of the United States in South America, and really a lot more themes of interest to any brand of American politic observer regardless of party. James Woods does an excellent job, and Oliver Stone provides interesting plot twists.

It's interesting, but I definitely remember them discovering that it was sent out by an American pretty shortly after the anthrax was sent out and I remember hearing that repeated in the media a lot. I don't remember this being a factor in the invasion of Iraq.

I posted something similar to this about a month ago. When pinned down by reporters and the like and asked what they meant by saying "we are going to take our country back", not one of them was able to further vocalize what they meant when they said that. They kind of remind me of "the freemen" around a good numbers of years ago. They kept saying "Get the government off my back." A lot of ...
