This thread is proof that the hard right is as brainless as Nancy Pelosi. I mean, you don't get to butcher a member of your own party on ideological grounds, then blame her for what the Democrat you helped elect (yes, YOU! ) does in office. If the hard right were capable of de-rectumizing their crania, they's sit down, shut up and start acting like adults. Witness me holding my breath here.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. He took a lot of heat for opening his mouth w/o all the facts in the Gates incident. Looks to me like he's just learned a lesson. Let's try not to hold him to impossible double standards here. Edit: That's something liberals would do. Last edited on Sat Nov 7th, 2009 06:32 pm by Big_Mike

I'm really surprised we haven't heard from MAL about using Sammy Davis Jr.s song in parody...and not hearing him accuse the guy in the video of pulling another PAT BOONE stealing of music act. MAL......OH, MAL.... BOY have we got something for you to complain about now.

No, last week I got a Dear John letter from Unicare, informing me that they are pulling out of my state.
So I was already feeling crappy about losing the health care battle.

Scozzafava is a RINO who votes to the left of most democrats, yet Republican Party leadership endorses her.
Insanity.
Hoffman is a Conservative Republican running on a Conservative ticket because Republican leadership spurned him.
They still haven't learned. Conservative Republican win. Liberal Republicans get outliberaled by real democrats.
Hoffman will beat Scozzafava....

Now that's interesting.
High marks for Scozzafava here, imo. Rather than split the conservative vote and let the Dem have a shot at winning, bows out and puts country ahead of personal ambition. Very big of her.
Is it too much to hope that John McCain might do the same when he comes up for re-election?

Hey now, mowing lawns can be a very lucrative business, in California anyway.
I have experienced the same issues. I actually have a little test that all applicants have to take, in my presence. No calculator's, no dictionaries, etc. It's just a little 1 page test with very simple grammar school math, a question asking what word(s) are spelled incorrectly, alphabetize about 8 names, ...

They must be counting Libertarians as "Independent".
Which is significant, because Independents were more knowledgeable than both Dems and Reps in 5 categories, and if you add up all the +/-'s for each category, the Independents are more knowledgeable than followers of both of the two main parties.
