I think that complete acceptance is the pinnacle of an open-mind. Accepting a thought as a possibility, as another person's belief, or as an aspect of the truth does not mean you must adopt it as an operating program, and it doesn't mean you have to doubt it, either.

I have bee practicing Semen Retention for a about 2 months now, and its been the most productive i have been in years. I think it will take more time before i can testify to spiritual transformation, but the energy has moved to the solar plexus.

Your ideas are very similar to those taught in Buddhism, specifically dependent arisings and interrelatedness.
I do agree that, for example, the chair does not exist as it appears to. A chair does not exist in a vacuum, in and of itself, so on that I can agree.
The only advice I would give is to avoid becoming too intellectual, even in your explaining of what it is you're/you've ...

For the last month or so I have been playing with the exercises in the workbook from A Course in Miracles
The results have struck me as rather profound.
The Course gives ideas that can be practiced several times throughout the day (usually for just a minute or two), but also can be used anytime a challenging situation arises.

That is a very good exercise!
We often times have such an attachment to our beliefs and mistake them for reality when in fact they are usually based on a limited point of view. Take a look at some of the threads on this board and you will see what I mean.
By doing your experiment, I can easily see that it is not logical to hold on so tightly to my beliefs when they are actually easily ...

I've thought about the exact same thing. When I was a kid I once asked my mom how animals or babies can think and do stuff, go to places if they don't know the words.
Also, when I'm reading, I either realize that my tongue is saying the words as I'm reading it, and other times I realize that I just look over the words and understand them without moving my tongue at all!...

I think so. I grew up believing what my parents had taught me about God and religion. I accepted it until I hit middle age and started researching why they believed what they did. That required me to doubt what they and I believed until then. The result is that I no longer believe in their beliefs!

Tony Parsons is great! He negates "the doer" and does it with a wonderful sense of humor.

Why do we require BELIEFS?
Isn't it because you desire for security?
Is the mind capable of freedom from belief?
A man of peace, a man who would really understand the whole process of human existence, cannot be bound by a belief, can he?
the more knowledge a mind is burdened with, the less capable it is of understanding?
