I think it would be very difficult for you to gain confirmation that you can read people psychicly, because reading people can be done in several ways. A mentalist for example can basically tell people their pin number and what happened in their childhood just by looking at them. What could you possibly read in them to be sure you are not just cold reading? I believe there are psychic abilities, but drawing conclusions just from one incident...

Hi, I'm not sure where you live, but it might be a good idea to check out any sort of meetups that might be happening in your city or near your city on the website called: meetup.com Punch in your city, and see what comes up in the field you are interested in. Some search words could be: energy healing, reiki, mystics, etc. Try searching using lots of different search terms because there really isn't one specific term that is...

Find help. If you don't think, a psychologist is the right choice, consider hypnosis, guided meditations (I mean with a guide), regression therapy, reiki/energy healing or whatever pulls at you.

I believe the higher self and our recently deceased self come into convergence after we've gone through our life review and dropped our earthly identity.

My husband died of a heart arrhythmia when he was 17 and was brought back after a few minutes. For him the hardest part was not having had any sort of spiritual or mystical experience during that time. Now he is even more afraid.
My theory is either he wasn't dead long enough or he had some already fixed belief concerning there being no afterlife which resulted in him attracting just that...
