Personally, the biggest change I would test is adding more numbers-numbers tend to impress many people and I usually gravitate towards lines with numbers, as opposed to lines with just text. Of course this varies, but I think for offers related to money numbers are very important. There's a big of a subtle point on hard sell vs. soft sell that can potentially mess you up here. Doubleyourdating.com is very hard sell oriented-while they...

Hey Andy, well you were talking about advice for business, if you're taking on a business, then I think you have the time, resources and responsibility to find your passions. Having a business that you don't love, wont pay the bills either

Asking for a raise

Lauxa, I was recently in a very similar position. I won't go into the details - but I got my raise pretty easily because the company is completely dependent upon my software. If I go on strike, the company goes under. Your situation might be different, however. What skill set do you have? What software have you written for the company thus far? How much are you currently getting paid?

Lost in my career What should I do

Hi, thanks for sharing. So it's sort of a clean slate for you, huh? First, just a couple lifestyle suggestions. Stay as healthy as possible, because the healthier your body, the healthier your mind, and the more resistant and resilient you will be to symptoms--and the better you will function at any task or pursuit. I would suggest fish oil supplements, antioxidants, and daily exercise if you are not already doing these. Looks like there...

Ellie, I really loved your first post it was full of enthusiasm, excitement and likeability, however your second post was as bad as the first was good. I am a senior executive in a large organisation, no big deal I know but my experience has taught me things. Probably the most important thing I have learned is that no one likes a smartass. Hey guys.
A few months or so ago I posted about winning a free pass to the Ignition online business training program.
Well, they gave so much video content in that program (probably like 50 hours total) that I forgot that I had "bypassed" their sales letter training videos, because at the time I didn't think I should bother watching them since I didn't have a product to sell.
Well a few ...

I'm posting after following Steve's post where he recommends SiteBuildIt. I've wanted to start up an online business for a while, but I'm not sure weather I should start with a niche that isn't so crowded first.
I'm a 19 year old psychology student, and my idea for the business would be a website focused on learning guitar (I know, theres a million websites out there), with articles on ...

I understand that the decision to buy or rent is wildly dependent on many factors, so I'll try to describe my situation as well as possible. I don't know the exact numbers for renting where I am, but my parents have told me I will likely be able to afford it.

I have been away from the blogosphere for a while now, and I'm considering diving back in full time in a few months. I have several topics that interest me, and I have pretty decent domains to go with those interests.
The question is, if you were to start your blogging business from scratch in 2010, would you spend your entire time, energy, and resources on one niche topic, or would you ...

I'm not talking about well-meaning buzz words or customer friendly platitudes either.
I'll tell you the most important word I've ever come across and then hopefully you'll share some of your's with me.
The most important business word in my vocabulary is this one.
RE-ENGINEERING.
I believe this concept is key to continual improvement.
What business words are important to you ...

Hi Scotty.
I just started my blog yesterday so be warned, its still in its infant stages. The link is in my sig. I would like to develop it into a useful resource for younger people to learn about financing and personal growth. I can't believe how many of my friends are launched well into their careers and still remain clueless about financial matters.
My blog will chronicle my ...

I never tried to make money with poker before, but i like that game very. I always watch poker on TV and play with friends, but without money.
However, I'd like to try online poker with money. I can cut only 100 USD for my poker's start. Is it enough? Could somebody suggest me a good poker site? Please, your suggestions, thoughts .
Thanks.

I LOVE forums.
Partly because of participating and making friends, partly because of the excellent niche content.
But my time is valuable, and checking them out all the time is SUCH a time waster.
Would you pay $20/month (or whatever) in order to get a well-written weekly summary of the major news, events, gems of your favorite forums?

I have made a nice amount of money online since 2007. I believe that I can easily teach eager people the ways of making money online.
So I've begun to look into launching a seminar in my town.
Here's some of the details/thoughts.

1. The "System" involves a sadomasochism where some choose to be victims, and some choose to be victimisers, using the need to survive as the excuse.
2. This comes from a perceived need to for one person to lose for the other to win - the "veil" if you will. The truth of course is that we are all part of the same body and love is what makes us go. If you want to prove this, give a baby all ...
