So people who enjoy/are engaged in riding/driving and up their skill level are less likely to have a crash even though the exceed the speed limits etc more... Semi obvious to those of us with a brain, thankfully someone has done the research to back it...

Having sold my Evo I am increasingly getting the urge to buy a toy, however as it would be very rarely used, and ideally parked on the street (inner city Sydney) I'm having difficulty justifying the need (especially when I already have another car at my disposal for the day to day needs). Can anyone offer some suggestions for a cheap (<$15k) fun car? I was thinking classic shape WRX or S14, but ...

Thanks guys for the help with the sites to look for cars a month or so back. We have just got a new Evo X RS, it's pretty tragic when you don't hesitate stripping a car that has delivery km only. Anyway, we are trying to find a spare gearbox that we can build into a dogbox. I don't think there would be too many 5spd X boxes locally, so anyone have any ideas on people we could try ...

Hey Guys, Had a car come in a couple of weeks back with engine light on, multiple cam/crank position faults reported. It didn\'t seem like a sensor fault, ran a check on the net came across this forum page for US caddy owners and the reported fault, which sounded the same as the VE SV6 I had. http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/lofiver...hp/t18688.h tml Long story short, it said next step was to ...

Need to replace the harnesses in the race car to make me feel happier, last set was in a roll over and had petrol on them, ones that came with the car are only in date because of a rule change and are not the newest looking. My 3yo daughter (almost 4yo!) wants a V8Supercar for Xmas So I've done some digging around and have seen a heap of no-name 49cc pocket bike engines on ebay for ~$100. Anyone built their kids a go-kart? Are there any plans around that I could start with? Something I can bolt together out of MS tubing would be better than the carved wooden frames I've seen online Doesn't ...

Thought it might interest some, the latest issue of Street Machine Hot Rod is out now. It's a pretty good read so far, just about to read about a Volvo 5T powered AWD 32 Coupe. Pretty sure there are some clips of it on line somewhere. Heaps of cool stuff to read about, so if you are into this sort of thing get yourself a copy.

So on supraforums.com.au there was a thread congratulating a guy called Jay who got a 10s pass in his Supra. Jay wasnt there to clarify things but someone else pointed out that the pass was invalid and the officials had stricken it off. Pass breakdown: 2.3 60ft 10.4 1000 foot NO MPH given Someone else then posted that another Supra with the same 60\' (ie. shit) had gotten 150MPH+. I posted ...

Anyone have experience racing front wheel drives ? A circuit racing friend of mine is trying to convert me to the darkside - namely an EG Civic with a 1.8 vtecyo engine. Apparently they are pretty cheap to run and fun to drive. As a V8 or rotary man, my idea of handling is balls out oversteer - which ain\'t going to happen in a Honda. So, are they any fun on a track ? I\'m actually planning ...
