One thing I will recommend when downloading via torrent, is to have a look at the comments section. If there are no and/or bad comments, I would avoid; but if there are several positive comments it should be ok. It was for me, anyway -- how do you like those apples Smeegle?

Lads lads, there is so much more to the cloud than the pretty limited view being expressed here... Wearing the long trousers for a minute, we're seriously looking into it as a means of cheaply hosting distributed data. The bottom line is, bandwidth is still expensive and factoring in co-location it becomes a hell of a lot more so. Regardless of the aspergers thing: http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/200...k-hacker-gary/ Is this man an actual criminal? He certainly seems to be posing a threat for some reason? I imagine that he is a bit of an internet genious by being able to access and hack the most 'secure' sites on the planet. I think personally that the USA are trying to poach this fella from the UK using the extradition treaties that are in place. He is a...

I need a portable phone capable of making and receiving skype calls on a wifi network without needing a computer as intermediary. Ideally it would have a camera built in for video calling, but I can't find anything like this online.
I keep seeing the same 2 devices from Belkin and Netgear, but they ...

Not enough info really. If this has only happened recently then it could be a virus. Other than that it could be a case of to many programs running. It could also be ' bloatware' i.e. programs with the laptop that are really unnecessary.
I think more info is needed. But I can offer this...

Today, the European Parliament agreed a telecoms directive which includes a provision for 'internet freedom'.
The provision forbids internet service providers (ISPs) like Eircom from disconnecting illegal filesharers.
Eircom had introduced a three-strikes rule in...
