Mike, Agree entirely with your comments and very much appreciate your help. I do have a programming background but have limited exposure to JavaScript and JQuery - have worked on projects with Microsoft ASP.Net which is similar but not the same. My reason for trying to run rather than walk is that we need to demo some stuff in the New Year and we thought that it would be easier than it is proving - for the demo I cannot muster any JavaScript...

Hi, Can we controle Y-axis values in Openflash chart ? my y-axis data is like 0.2,0.3,0.6 etc. But the chart is taking the Y-axis values as 11, 22,33,etc.. as a result my linegraph is lying on X-axis ? one more thing is does "domainLabelRotation" works in OpenflashChart ? Can we control/fix the width of a column in JTable component ?

You got FF and Firebug installed, I'd open it w/o mantle (the rest of the ui) and just see where its throwing up.

Hi Parveen, The dashboard designer uses CDF - it is just a very easy way for end user to build simple dashboards - for example with parameterisation - rather than having to get their hands dirty playing with the cdf directly through xactions and html/javascript. Also only available in the Enterprise Edition - not in the Community Edition. I am not sure if that will change going forward. ...

I have no solution to your problem... but I will just point out that unless you pay ($10K a year) for Google Maps you are breaking google's terms and conditions unless the Pentaho installation you are working on faces the internet and has no login at all ... which is why a lot of us use Open Street Maps.

Hi! I'm not an expert but I can try to give some help. If you want to make a dashboard you need CDF installed in Pentaho. I can also recommend that you download and install CDF-DD which gives you great help in making dashboards. But there are no pre built components for a google map. I guess that's because you need a map license from google and you can only use the free map api if it's public...

what components are not supported? CDF allows you to create dashboards much easier than fiddling with JSP's if you want to keep coding JSP's for dashboard.. do so
