Yeah, I'm teetering on the edge of shaving mine. I don't have an actual bald spot yet, but it's obviously thinning, to the point where it's noticeably worse than the year before. I expect I'll be shaving in the next year or two if things continue at this pace.

I would second the air mattress. We have a queen sized raised mattress (it's probably about a foot and a half tall) that we use when we have company. It's got a built in motor that plugs into the wall, and has a compartment to hold the cord when not needed. If you don't want to deal with deflating it every day, you could just stand it up and lean it against a wall when not in use. When deflated it fits in a small duffel bag...

Great to hear, you seem to have gotten your footing and are willing to stand up for your cause now. Just remember to be open to the counselor pointing out bad things about you as well (he's paid to help you guys reach marital peace and will focus on pros and cons of both parties), regardless of how minimal they are compared to her stuff. Just take your time to explain everything and remain calm during the sessions.

Name that Shakespearean Parody

Possibly a loose parody of A Midsummer Night's Dream? Bottom gets turned into an ass (get it, that Shakespeare was so profound!) And everyone gets lost in the woods.

Second roommate said he is fine with a cleaning schedule as long as everyone is participating, but will not pay for a maid. Progress. It was not the pipe that was clogged it was the part at the bottom of the basin where the basin drains into the pipe. Somehow that part was clogged with.. something. We have not had pipe issues since the pipes under the sink physically disconnected the first time they were used. Considering the landlord had one...

So, I think my professor's grand plan is to make everyone avoid all of his students by the end of the term, since he keeps giving us assignments that require asking lots of questions of people. So far my begging and pleading has only yielded me 11 out of the 25 responses he says we need to have; however, since we got to pick our subject this time, I thought I'd do one on MMOs and ...

The only good duck I have ever had is roasted wild duck.
Big cast iron pot, stick some garlic in it in a few places, get a good gravy going.... serve over rice. Takes at least 5 hours to get it tender though.
7 pounds is a huge fucking duck though. 7 pounds? really? The ducks I've had are like.... maybe .75 pounds. maybe.

I recently picked up a Canon T1i package with 18-55mm lens, and the 50-250mm lens. I'd been doing research and watching prices for quite a while, and when Amazon put 'em on sale, I jumped.
I paid $850USD for the package, and had it shipped to a friend in Buffalo, then went cross-border to get it. Couldn't be more pleased.
Couple of my friends have Nikon D90's and I've played with ...

That would be called a Sway bar end link. The CV joint would be underneath that rubber boot on the left of both pictures. It's something that is user serviceable, but it's not exactly the easiest thing in the world to do. I would suspect your alignment is off as a loose sway bar end should not cause any major issues with your steering.

They might enjoy small casual games like Bejewelled, Zuma, or Mahjonng . PS3 is not so good as other platforms for casual games, however.

Yeah, most places have offices in NJ, upstate NY or in western CT rather than NYC proper because of the expense
You should look into Sikorsky, they have a pretty big office in Stratford, CT

I haven't made Alton's recipe, but I have been cooking Turkey dinners for my family for a few years now. Timing is really the main thing to keep in mind IMO. Plan it so the Turkey is ready at least 60-30 minutes before you want to eat, so you have to time to make gravy, carve, or stick it back in the oven.
Also, digital thermometers are great for checking doneness

So basically your wife insults you, insults your career choice, and purposely cuts you down. She refuses to go to counseling and when you try to talk about your feelings her response is "ABLOO BLOO, a real man wouldn't CRY about it."
Divorce her.

Gears of War has...sorta monsters.
Dead space is full of monsters, but I wouldn't really recommend that.
Bioshock is in the same boat.
I'd suggest borderlands, but its already in your sig so you probably already know about it.

Hmm, I'd suggest trying to figure out who is really doing the searching. It would be awkward telling your parents when it is really them.
Also, think about if it really is your dad or parents, do you really want to know? Just something to think about.

Sorry for the two threads, but this is really bugging me.
I haven't seen my girlfriend for a couple of days due to her being at friends houses/work, so I invite her over tonight. She agrees, I pick her up.
Basically she gets a text from some friends (one whom she had a fling with while ago when she wasn't with me) and decides since she hasn't seen them in a while she'll ditch our ...

Yay, first question.
Should I be drinking a protein of some kind? I eat some chicken, but no red meat... I'm worried I'm not getting a large enough portion of things I may need.
I am not trying to get superman levels of strength right now. Just drop 20lbs and get stronger. It seems to be going terribly slowly (weight is coming off, but strength is not increasing as much as I'd like)....

Hey H/A
Me and 4 of my friends are planning a trip with the aid of some charitable funding (~$8000) to spend a couple of months going from the west to east coast of America next summer. During this trip we'll be blogging about our experiences, and occasionally doing some historical work to provide some justification for why we're taking our schools money. Just trying to get some advice ...
