Is that why you had it for sale here and there, Bubba... because you enjoy it so much? I hear you on the housing bubble... but that one - as opposed to the SURPRISING (at least to me) massive drop in value of the HP2S was foreseeable...

when "mothership" is mentioned I assume we are talking the car business. i spent nearly 30 years working for a very large, privately held, diversified, global CPG company. one of the US "businesses" was doing quite poorly, but the owners had a similar business in the UK doing quite well. they held on to that business and lost money on it for 10 years, all the while trying to figure it out. it is now #1 brand in the...

No Ralf, I still enjoy the bike and have so since i took delivery. Cringe is if you bought a house just before the bubble burst in Florida and lost your job. I've lost big money on automobiles, however.

I tried wiring them up directly and they'd light up at first then turn off. I read that a power resistor was needed in order to compensate for the lower power draw 35w as opposed to the H7's 55w. Adding a 20w resistor didn't seem to work but then again, I'm not sure which of the three scenarios is correct: if I need to wire the resistor across both the positive and negative leads at the bulb connector or if I need to...

And even with the painkillers, Owen makes more sense than Jim. And yes, the statement that some don't like it because they can't afford it, IS indeed childish, as well as in many cases, wrong. What a crazy, petty old man Jim must be. Some of us blow more than the value of an RR in motorcycle activities every year. Heck, I did just in November alone. We're just not all necessarily taken by a UJM with a roundel slapped on it. Not...

I think the price is a good one for the buyer. I often sell bikes for a fraction of what I paid for them. If I want to sell I do not mind taking a loss. What are you driving at Ralf? That is one find list of bikes you have posted under your name dots.............why belittle others who sell or trade their bikes at lowered prices for whatever reason they have? To each their own. The price on the HP2 is in the range that if you sold three of...

6000k and 8000k? IMO that light range isn't the best for actual usable light. 4100k/4300k are the best in terms of lighting up objects so the human eye can see them. The whole point of HIDs is to see more and these kits that are outside of the ideal light color range aren't suited for that.

My guess is that your brake fluid must have been very low, and the tipover introduced air into the line at the master cylinder. Curing the flashing lights will probably require a dealer reset of the ABS computer. But I bet bleeding will be enough to restore normal non-ABS braking.
