QUOTE (VW Girlie @ Nov 19 2008, 08:34 PM) I think you said before that your kids go to Abney, That being said I really appreciate your comments, my mom works in the cafeteria at Abney and she went to work at 5 AM today to make sure everything went well at lunch. Needless to say she was in bed by 7:45 tonight and exausted. She will be pleased to know you had a good experience Yep - Abney! They really did a great job....

QUOTE (gummibearz @ Nov 19 2008, 08:11 PM) I went for my 2nd grader, but didn't eat, and then ate with my Kindergartner. Lunch was good, and I appreciate the cafeteria staff. They had a lot of extra people to prepare food for today, but everything went smoothly. I didn't get to go and eat with mine today. I know (from experience) alot of hard work goes into serving the children their lunch, especially Thanksgiving. I would like to thank all the lunchroom staff for their hard work and dedication.

I went to 1st graders class along with my daughter and her boyfriend, the food was good and the poems and singing by the class was priceless. I hate that Hubby had to miss it.

Have you Myspacers or have your kids talked about not going to school tomorrow November 5th?
