Hansi, coming from the UK, I know plenty who have fallen in to the Landrover trap. The Defender (and its Series predecessors) is just one of those iconic vehicles as is the Classic Rangie. They spend a fortune on them and what Doug says is not untrue - although parts supply in the UK is plentiful, still expensive though !
