If your B-in-law is having a good bank balance and property/ies, then let him self sponsor: Otherwise, you may sponsor for them. He needs to get a no objection letter from his school and also an approved leave letter to show to VO if asked.

Yes, but be prepared to substantiate your business visit purpose and duration with proper documentation. (Letter from employer, client/company you are visiting etc.)

What the PP means is that it is usually very difficult to get a visitor's visa AFTER one has filed an immigrant application. See, when you file an immigrant application, you are telling the consulate you plan to make the US your permanent home. When you apply for a visitor's visa, you are giving your all to prove your ties to your home country and your intention to return!! So there's your contradiction right there. Even if she...

It will be better that the passport be with her husband;s name. If your sister & or your B-in-law is /are working, then, it is worth while that they self sponsor for the visitor visa. You only need to send them an invite letter You need to send them all letters about your status in USA and you need to brief them thoroughly. They are expected to be queried by the VO about your present status...

I am working on L1 for 2 years and my wife is on L2(EAD) working for 1 year. We want to invite my in laws and my sister in law with her daughter (going to school). They will stay for 1-1.5 months in US. My sister in law is not working in India but her husband will stay in India during their visit. My questions are: 1. Invitation letter should be sent by me or my wife? (L1 or L2?) 2. ...

Let your brother self sponsor for his visitor visa and you can send a invite letter. He can show the reason for visiting you and tourism and apply for 2 months. Since, he is having his own business and also his wife is going to be in his home town when he is visiting USA, chances of getting a visitor visa is greater. He needs to carry with him property documents if any, 3 years tax return/...

You should have applied for the visitor visa prior to applying for the immigration, both are contradicting to each other. You need to specify this in the application, and also need to specify that husband is GC holder. Consular officer should be very liberal to accept such an application.

Can you be more specific. Are you trying to use a company issued business purpose visa for a personal visit. Please do not get into troubles. These kind of things can lead to permanent ban from further entries.

You can go ahead with the valid approval notice. visa stamp is not required. You can get bank a/c verification letter in whatever format they give, and also carry online bank statements. don't worry too much on your supporting docs, the most important thing is train your parents to answer all the sample questions in this forum, and be ready to show strong ties in INDIA.

I'd suggest you fill out the forms yourself. It's not that complicated. You just need to do some homework and read up the whole procedure on the VFS website (its really quite straightforward and it gives you step by step directions on what needs to be done). In case you still decide to use an agent to fill your forms, well, the agent should again be able to guide you step by step on what you ...
