I didn't go out. But they showed on the news people were lining up in cars last night in hopes to get to the store first this am!! I would have went out this morning, but there just wasn't anything worth getting. Nothing we needed for xmas shopping anyhow...

We have free weekly curbside recycling but everything has to be sorted into separate bins and there are separate trucks picking up as well. We have plasitcs, glass, paper, and cardboard. The general trash pick-up is a different day each week.

Black Friday and the Stores are Empty At first I wasn't going to go out today but I got some coupons in the mall and what the heck. I was amazed. The mall here was not crowded at all. Kind of scary when you think about it. Is the economy worse than last year? Last year you couldn't even get into the parking lots on Black Friday.

Personally, I'm very sensitive to poison ivy and have tried lots of the treatments. The one I love these days is made by Cortaid.
It's expensive, but less than your co-pay.
The next thing I'd do is run all of your clothes through the washer and dryer several times -- sheets and bedding too.
Do they allow people to burn leaves in your area? If so, that could be a source for it. This ...

I used to hate unloading the dishwasher. It always seemed like it took forever to do and then one day I timed it. I forget what the exact time was but it was somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes. I don't love it but I no longer hate it. I hate vacuming. I'd rather sweep all 1198' then vacum the the smallest room.

I can never decide what to get DH. I have a hard time figuring something out for the girls also. It was easier when we were poorer and the kids were younger. Then, the kids were always glad to have something, and DH and I always found great deals at Toys R Us's clearance aisle.
