Movie ads/previews

The theater that I like to go to also has the local ads (dentist, real estate agents, etc) running between showings...as well as trivia questions about movie stars. We usually scroll through them a few times before the movie starts. It was the HELLMAN's Mayonnaise ad that did me in. I NEVER thought I'd see an ad for a grocery item as a preview at the movies. I haven't seen it yet. I'm dying to, but not sure if it was something that DS could handle and I appreciate your input on it also being "dark, scary" so I think it's a definite 'out' for us, because I dn't want to go w/o DS.
But looking forward to it on DVD.

Movie ads/previews I have to say....that our experience at the movies (we saw New Moon) this weekend, took a turn for the worse.
We had actual commercials before the previews. A Hellman's Mayonnaise ad, a Wendy's ad, and a JC Penny's ad, as well as a REALLY long ad for the National Guard.
All I can say is YUCK.

Did Anyone See Precious? DH and I saw it tonight. The theater was PACKED. I have to say, it was a phenomenal and very powerful movie! It's not for the faint of heart, though, and the subject matter was very hard and somewhat painful to watch at times.
