I hope you can find the right thing. Kristin needs alot more support so I'm not much help to you there. We just hang the backpack on the push bar of the stroller or wc. Don't know if that would work for you.

Is he bringing a size 1 or size 2? The size 2 should accomadate to about the size of a 6-8yr old. We have the Jazz size 2 and, on the big settings, it's pretty big. Possibly avg 8yr old size. If he's trying to sway you away from the Kimba, he may bring a size 1 so look for that. I don't know how kimba does it but the Jazz says A2 on the handle of the frame. The size 1s say A1

I don't know that it would fit. It does say it fits in the Maclaren major but I doubt it would fit in the regular umbrella stroller if it's the one we have it's pretty small. You could also try rolling up a towel or small pillow for behind her back. Might help for a short term solution!

I think you are right it is a Quickie kidz but not 100% sure. I don't think it has a lot of growth potential which may or may not be a big deal depending on your child's growth curve and how old and big he is now. You may want to look into a lightweight titanium wheelchair if you think he is going to do his own self propulsion, the lighter the better, less fatigue and stress on child. Alabama ...

We are using this one for Wesley To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. We got it at BRU How tall is he, what is his weight? His trunk control? He may need something more of a special needs seat...but I would try and get medicaid to pay for it...if you need to go that route.

My son was not ambulatory and growing out of a typical stroller when he was fitted for his adaptive stroller. I know there are kids here who are mobile and had pediatric wheelchairs approved. I would definitely bring it up prior to the car seat evaluation. Good luck!

Those look like they'd be fun for him. I've looked into a few things like that but we really don't have the room for any more therapy toys at this point. He seems to do well with a bunch of pillows to walk on and we're looking into getting a wii for Christmas (w/the balance board, or whatever it's called). Family support funds just bought a therapy swing for Sam. I think it ran just over...
