Do you prefer dark chocolate or milk chocolate?  I've always liked milk chocolate better, but am trying to acquire a taste for dark because it's better for you, so "in", blah, blah, blah.  But I find it tastes kind of bitter.  If you prefer dark, why and do you get used to the aftertaste?

Hi, I'm looking for a decent venue for a small (20-30 people) lecture in the Palo Alto area. Anyone know of any cafes or coffee shops that might be quiet enough for such a thing? We've previously had a successful lecture at La Peña Cultural Center's Café Valparaíso in Berkeley, but I'd like something on this side of the Bay. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! -Tim

I moved to Palo Alto about a year ago and have yet to find many cultural events or places to go with a diverse group of people to take my daughter.  I moved from Oakland, and although the rep is bad, I lived in the Lake Merrit area, and loved it.  It was home to such a richly diverse group of people, from all different backgrounds, racially, religiously, economically, etc.  I am not looking for "EVENTS" per se, just places to go...
