View some of the large threads in the Windows HotSync section of this forum for information on syncing with Vista64.  The solutions given apply to Windows 7 also.   It boils down to syncing via a Wireless method - Wifi, BlueTooth, or Infra-red (beaming).   WyreNut

Yep, Adobe Reader does not support 320 x 480 screen size.   In addition to PalmPDF as suggested by WyreNut, you might also consider exploring an upgrade to Documents To Go.  More recent versions than that which came on your TX have excellent PDF support.  I use it all the time for PDFs.       p.s. I'm moving this to the Software board. Message Edited by smkranz on 11-22-2009 12:11 AM

Some applications cannot be deleted, even with third party file manager software. Windows stubbornly protects them.   You can remove items from your Start menu and program screen by deleting their shortcut. This is very similar to how the Start menu works on a Windows desktop PC.   On the Treo 800w, you:   Star > File Explorer, change the drop-down to My Device > Windows > Start Menu > Programs   Here can you...

Hello 42ndSSD and welcome to the Palm forums.    I downloaded the Macintosh version of the updater, as it comes as a single .prc file and then uploaded the uncompressed .prc file to my ftp sever.  You can download the updater here .   Alan G

My work required me to purchase a Droid smartphone-to update to newest technology. I had a Tungsten E2 palm and had over 1000 line items in the doc memo sectin of Epocrates. Does anyone know how to get the information transferred? Bluetooth does not work- my palm is too old (4 years old) and the Motorola device is not supported. Post relates to: Tungsten E2

Hotsync loop despite having...

Sorry, but I couldn't disagree with you more.  The problem really isn't that deep.  I can pretty much guarantee that a hard reset will NOT stop the problem, since it is not SW induced.  It is the simple laws of electrical conduction through excess moisture "simulating" the pressing of the sync button.

Well, the error seems to be pretty self-explanatory to me!    Did the program come as a .zip download?  Did you install all the files that were supposed to be installed?  Look for a "README" file in the archive that may explain what needs to be installed, or navigate to the author's website for help.   WyreNut

Same thing on my first one and second one. I read somewhere that this feature was designed to facilitate emergency security updates, and that ordinary updates go through the carriers.

Adobe Reader is a very old program - probably written before larger Palm screens even existed!   I'd suggest you give the free "PalmPDF" a try.   WyreNut
