Palm Support said I should double check on the phone support, so I wanted to try here.  If in case this phone is also bad I'm gonna have to get Sprint to return me my device.   I deleted my old thread cause it was outdated, and I am a bit...Sketchy.   The Sprint phone I got back has a rumble that is not consistent.  Sometimes it is high, most of the time it is low, and when pressing the WiFi button it is 'non-existent' (my...

The only way to see if this is a software issue is a soft/hard reset. If nether reset fixes the issue the next step would be a replacement of the device.

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Support Community. Because the Palm Wi-Fi card is a discontinued item, the sources you mentioned are about as good as you will find.  eBay is a fine place to shop if you pay attention to the seller's credentials, read the listing carefully, and know what you are buying.

Do you use the ringer switch on the top of the phone frequently? I wonder whether it might have failed (become stuck in the silent position somehow).

Hello moksha, Welcome to the Palm Support Community.   For reference, you can view repair videos from directfix.com.  They show how to replace a battery.  It does involve removing the T5 Torx screws, and a bit of dexterity.   They can do the repairs for you, but I don't recall if they ship internationally.   WyreNut

They all should, the Vx, m105, and m515 all run the same core OS with minor differences. Unless im missing something big, it should import your info into all of them without a problem.

Hello akid and welcome to the Palm forums.    I've never owned a Palm Zire PDA, but I have moved SD cards between many Palm OS 4 and 5 devices without issues.  Specifically, I have used just about all of the Tungsten family devices, including the LifeDrive and the Palm TX.    What size (storage capacity) are you using?  Maybe the m505 and Tungsten T2 can't access all of the space on...

Your Palm has flash memory, that means that when he battery dies or is disconnected, you won't lose your data. Basically, you have eternity to replace it.   As for battery type, you can get one at usedpdaparts.com, eBay or amazon.com under "tungsten e2 battery." (Keep in mind they come in slightly different capacities, the stock one, the high capacity one etc (1050 mAh, 1100 mAh, etc...

My original TX's power button stopped working, you'd have to push it real hard to get it to do anything. It's other problem was that after a hard reset, one of way too many for the cost of this device, it corrupted it's own flash and would no longer re-install everything, like wireless and a bunch of apps. So, now I am on my second TX and here is it's list of problems: - Will turn on and off...

First where is your data stored? In Palm Desktop or in Agendus on your computer? If all your data is in Palm Desktop the easiest way is to hard reset your device and rename your backup folder then sync to the same username. If the data is in Agendus then we need a way to move the data from Agendus to Palm Desktop. You may need contact Agendus on this.

It's the battery.   As long as the charger doesn't look damaged (broken wire, etc.)   You could try the old "in-cradle reset" - plug it in and press the Reset button.  Let it charge for 3 hours then try to turn it on.   WyreNut

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Support Community.   Absolutely.  Open the Prefs application.  Down at the bottom under the Personal section, you'll see Buttons.  Tap it, and you'll be able to change the hard button assignments.

Rumble sounds like a game controller.   I'm guessing you mean the vibration for some alerts/notifications? You can turn those on and off for different events under:   Start > Settings > Personal tab > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications tab   This might not be all of the potential notifications, but it covers the more common ones.   Unfortunately, I don't recall there being...
