The reason why this does not work is that Apple released a new version of iTunes that broke the sync feature of the Pre. Our latest update worked with iTunes 9.0.1. Im having the same problem but i have a HP with Windows 7 64bit useing the newest I-Tunes i even search for my pre in my computer and i cant find the "music" folder in my pre but there is music there.

me too... My concern is why a phone this great,and expensive doesnt have video recording,and for that matter fowarding of texts,an on screen qwerty,and a voice recorder... cmon palm,and lets crush the iphone!!!

At this time the text message functionality is pretty limited. Thus it can't do forwarding text messages and you can't save files from MMS messages.

I am having the same problem. I get the Error Message:"Unable to save the file."  This happens on all websites. Just last week it worked fine.

Have Zire 71, software version 4.1.  Saw ad to upgrade to 4.1.1e & did so.  Horrible results.  Reloaded original Palm software but my photos do not appear in Palm Desktop even after successful (?) synch.  Photos are in handheld and Explorer shows them in Palm/Photos. 

Hello 14931, Welcome to the Palm Community Forum.   The dowload versions of Palm Desktop do not include a Media conduit with them, thus no transfer of photos.   I'd suggest a clean uninstall/reinstall of your original Palm Desktop.  Instructions for a clean uninstall here:   http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/message?board.id=windows_hotsync&thread.id=43307&jump=true   WyreNut  

Hi...I'm trying to download ringtones to my palm pre and am not having any luck.  Does anyone know how to do this?
