Im having the same problem but i have a HP with
Windows 7 64bit useing the newest I-Tunes i even search for my pre in my computer and i cant find the "music" folder in my pre but there is music there.

Download and saving it to the SD card should be no problem. But the 680 can only play certain media formats. Please look at this link for the supported formats http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/treo/680/unloc ked/solutions/article/40355_en.html#formats If you have more questions post back.

Hello Caroline and welcome to the Palm Forums.... The best and easiest way to download ringtones is to transfer the song to the Pre via the
USB connection. Once the music files or MP3's have been moved to the phone, you can assign them as ringtones. Where are you trying to download the ringtones from? Thanks, Colapop

The reason why this does not work is that Apple released a new version of iTunes that broke the sync feature of the Pre. Our latest update worked with iTunes 9.0.1. I don't think iTunes is needed here but you may need to work with Windows a little bit for this. What could be happening is that when you drag and drop the file from the Pre to windows it does not have what is called
