You cant factor all 600 in your numbers. There will be natural atrrition, s/o, guys who dont pass the interview, guys who dont pass the sim or line training for command., Ive even heard about a 330 f/o who said who wasnt interested in the 320 command and stayed on the 330 as a f/o.

Since when in QR you need any prove ? Under H.M there was more termination of a Capt and F/O then under any other CP . Talk to a fuel manager what he think about H.M he will explain you how CP A330 divert with 2500 kg extra fuel . Talk to number of F/O which where called to H.M office for taking sick leave and threaten that they will not be upgraded. Talk to M.H about H.M and B.M from Casa Talk to Qatari pilots about him and see what locals...

mightyduck keep in mind the bond does not start reducing until the completion of the first year 'on-line' after final line check. Only then will the 50,000 USD bond start to reduce. "$1388pm after 1st year (Final Line Check)". read carefully. Poisoned by Compromise Krunch

so now after you announced to all off us a few weeks ago that the CP told you about an increase of..28%.. ..the question is ..Who is the liar: you or the CP....?
Anyway (once again),the management has showed his total lack of consideration for crew..(Qatar has the highest inflation rate in the gulf(14%), and last but not least..the local currency has DRAMATICLY dropped v/s all major ...

What is your definition of droves ? I would like to think the number is big
but its not, sorry. Lots of pilots pissed off at the moment and EK could
care less, money talks right now and is the only concern. They would like
nothing better as to lose a lot of high payed Capt's, not worried about the
loss of experience til a hull loss, that would put a whole new spin on
things

Well of course she was sacked, publishing bad news is illegal in the UAE. She forgot to mention a few other minor incidents such as the other near fatal at JNB, the near CFIT into NBO and the Captain returning to the flight deck to discover the aircraft well below MSA in cloud in the Himalayas. There are probably more that others could add to the list.
