You could try first of all using the usb adapter with a windows machine. If it works with that then try again. It does work, I use mine with a Keyspan usb adapter with no problems, but not all adapters are equal. From memory there was a video or a run through on the source page of Java psion link. I followed those instructions and got it working. However, I do recall chasing the Java comm ...
