So I guess my girlfriend downloaded somethings trying to figure out how to maximize things (whatever they may be) on her new iPod. As I realized the virus spreading, I backed everything nonsuspicious up in my 750GB seagate HD from my 80GB maxtor, of which my OS is installed on, planning to reformat the 80GB after. The seagate HD is cut in 2 equal formatted partitions. I tried to access one...

Hello again I have a few queries about the optical connection on my PC. Firstly while computer literate, i have never used optical connections before. I am trying to use it as an input from my samsung screen/tv. Is it physically capable of this or does it only act as an output? Secondly, when i go to my audio mixer and click devices there are 2 devices I can use. SPDIF OUT Creative SB X-Fi ...

I have now got BD 2009 setup to block all cookies/scripts that come in through Firefox/Google Chrome/IE8. Hopefully that will help out a little with the online security.

Hello people. I will try to explain as clearly as possible the problem. I have a PC in my uni room connected to the internet by a LAN cable. In order to connect to the internet on my iTouch I have set up a wireless adhoc network and that has been working fine. The problem I am having is using the iTouch remote app with this setup. I read something about the ip address having to be the same ...

Hey Guys, I was browsing around the web for Online Radio applications and stumbled on the best one I have used yet. It is called Nexus Radio and can be found here . It is free and I have to tell you that during the installation, unclick the install toolbar button. It is spyware and malware free and they have more stations that XM and Sirius combined. Most stations are 128k ...

A friend called me up and said he just lost is network connection and couldn't get it back. He plugged his laptop into the same jack and was able to get on just fine. So I looked at it and noticed it says he has network connectivity. But when he goes to open a web browser, it gives him the 404. (Page cannot be displayed). So I tried pinging google.com and it can't reach it. But I have ...

Can I load Windows XP SP-2 onto a HDD external in a case while using my current PC, then install that drive as an internal to replace the current HDD (it has problems and I don't want to clone it to the external HDD) as a fresh new install? In other words, can I load Windows to another drive instead of pulling the exsisting drive and booting a new HDD loading windows? Thank you!!!
