I still wear my regular jeans and I'm 6 months. I'm showing, but I'm also 6' and plus size. So... 32 inch inseam pants aren't going to cut it so I just wear a bella band and my pants aren't zipped. It's uncomfortable. But,I have to deal for now. I refuse to wear knit straight legged pants. I'm a boot cut girl. __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater....

Everybody is different and peoples body's handle pregnancy in different ways. I think I bought my first pair of maternity jeans around 17 weeks. But that was only because I was with a small bump. For me the real big bump started between week 22-24. By this I mean, the bump that people actually started to notice. You'll get one eventually. __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater....

I was worried about my fiance telling his mother. 1) She's not my number 1 fan because I am older than him and she really wishes he were still 12 and not 27 and 2) She hates change. I mean passionately hates change. Especially change that would have an effect on her. Like her son having a baby therefor guaranteeing that he is not going to take care of her forever like she had hoped. She reacted as I expected. She screamed...

Help! Can I avoid a miscarriage?
Published (2009-11-06 01:16:00)
I am so sorry for your loss and very happy for your BFP!! Usually a miscarriage happens because the embryo wasn't viable for some reason (often due to chromosomal abnormalities, and often for inexplicable reasons), or because of low progesterone levels (which may be caused by PCOS). I agree with the PPs - PCOS itself does not cause miscarriages. You can't prevent a miscarriage unfortunately. I had similar concerns when I got my BFP...

Sara, I don't understand... they found a heartbeat and your beta went up... why do they think you will miscarry? I looked a little online and that seems to be a fine heart rate at 6 weeks. I'm sorry you are going through this. I hope that there is still a chance for you. __________________ Bee (34) and Chuck (32) - married since 2001 PCOS diagnosed Apr 2007 TTC #1 since Dec 2007 HSG 5/4/09 - tubes clear, possible bicornuate uterus...

It also depends on how tall you are. If you are tall, you probably won't show for awhile especially if it is your first.

are you suffering from pre-e? I had that and it compromised bloodflow to the baby. You can try laying on your left side for large amounts of time. I'm on 1 baby asprin per day to help with possible pre-e...

I had the exact same thing from around 6 or 7 weeks to about 10 weeks. I am 15 weeks now and still sometimes get the lower shooting pains. I doubt that it is round ligament pain this early but probably just the stretching of your uterus. I called my doctor alarmed because of the odd and sometimes intense pains and was reassured that everything was okay. Because I worry about everything I ...

My OB had me stop at week 12, which worked perfect because I ran out at that time. I weaned myself, too... I was on 1,000mg/day then went down to 500mg/day for that last 2 weeks and it helped a lot. I am also a thin cyster... my IR isn't that bad either, but my OB felt pretty confident that it would help things along. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow so maybe the Met was a good idea after all To ...

The first time i felt rlp, i want to say i was around 13 weeks or so. It almost feels like a cramp when you walk or run, the kind where you cant breathe in or out LOL. But it goes away within a few minutes. I still get it if i roll over too fast or stand up too fast, and some of them are VERY painful. Its usually on one side also. Sounds like to me your uterus is growing!!!!! Goodluck and ...

You could have had a vanishing twin.
That would explain the second beta not rising very well, and the debris that they saw.

Your beta seems fine. Your progesterone is low, but they CAN'T tell you that you will miscarry. Your doctor needs to put you on supplements NOW. Why didn't they just give you a prescription for progesterone supplements?

if your hips hurt from lying on your side, you can try putting a pillow between your knees to make you top leg knee more even with your hips (does this make senses?)

In regards to the "you'll know because the uterus is rock hard", I have to disagree. I have been having Braxton-Hicks since about 18 weeks (at first only after orgasm, now they come on their own) and my uterus gets rock hard with those, so I doubt that that is a reliable symptom of labour. They aren't painful, but very, very tight and uncomfortable.
The best way to tell is to keep...

I am so sorry for your loss I can imagine how you feel. I am totally scared for this as well because I don't ovulate. I am 14wks right now and I am under extremely high stress and am scared to death that this is affecting my pregnancy. Mind you I am 28 and this is my first pregnancy ever and maybe my only one. I pray for you that you will remain strong in this difficult time. I pray that you be...

Unfortunately, the only stone and mortar store I've been able to go shopping at is Motherhood Maternity - and their plus-size section in store is pretty pitiful. Fortunately, the stuff fits really well. Pre-pregnancy I was a 24/26 in pants and I'm currently wearing a pair of their 3x pants that are actually a bit baggy. I could've probably gotten the 2x. I will say, now that I know ...

A lot of hospitals are implementing a NO VISITORS policy during the flu season so you may get out of that worry without having to do anything. Ultimately it's your choice. You may want some nice quiet alone bonding time with your new family and you extended family should be understanding of that. You could always tell your in-laws that no visitors are allowed for the first 24 hours or...

I did this Sunday night (9dpo). There was a line, maybe but couldn't see real well. I ripped it apart (and the equte that was for sure positive) and analyzed them. I took another FRER on MOnday morning (10dpo) and faint again. I went in for a BETA and it was 5.4, so FRER's are VERY sensitve. I go for another BETA in the morning. I took a FRER this morning and got a slightly darker ...
