Ok, this evening I watched Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, the latest release from Studio Ghibli. No fansub release this was the proper R2(J) DVD release which comes with English subs. There is supposed to be a sepecial edition and blu-ray release for this but I think they have been put back until December. The release I received came with two DVDs, the first of which is the film with Japanese stereo and DTS-ES 6.1 audio tracks and Japanese...

I'm guessing it's old and/or low budget given the grain and aspect ratio?

Right Im going to Greece in around 2 weeks and I need a good book to read One that will last for 2 weeks. It's gotta be intereasting and something that will drag in a typicall 19 year old teenager. Can be a biography or anything just something to keep me entertained during the summer evenings. Any suggestions will be brilliant!

I'm a big fan of Metamorphosis, The Castle, and my favourite book ever - The Trial. I love Graham Greene too, esp. his Ministry of Fear. And John Fowles' "The Magus" - superb 60s paranoia. Maybe a difficult question - but anything similar?

I've had a quick search and couldn't find this asked so thought I would What do you think is the best Michael Jackson song, and why? While not a massive fan of his I have to admit that some of his songs were classics. For me it would have to be Billie Jean... that underlying beat is fantastic.

Just a quick rant but this has annoyed me. Popped onto the o2 blueroom to see if anything interesting had come up and lo and behold I notice that I can grab some tickets for La Roux performing at the UEA in Norwich. I really quite like their music and want to go. I check the price and see it to be a fair one, so I go ahead and start to order via a wonderful service known as ticketmaster...

If you had to choose 3 tracks in order from an album, what would they be? i.e. you could choose tracks 1,2,3, tracks 5,6,7 etc. It must be a 'proper' album i.e. single artist, no greatest hits or other compilation albums allowed. Here's a couple of examples to start you off: U2, The Joshua Tree: #1 Where the Streets Have No Name #2 Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For #3 With or...

Knowing! I've been eagerly awaiting this since missing the chance to watch at the cinemas. The trailer really hooked my interest and looked like a great premise. But what a joke. Full of massive plot holes, the most annoying ending and no real explanation to why things were happening. I generally like Nicholas Cage, even enjoyed ghost rider a little, but after this, seriously gone off ...
