Give them a break, it's reasonable enough that they do the web relations thing, it's a good idea and helps both users and the company... I've no love for vodafone personally due to billing disputes in the past but they're providing useful info here so no need to take your personal problems out on them, call customer services...

Well the GPU is going to be the limitation as it's a 9400M using shared system RAM (not it's own GPU GDDR memory). I would say look for reviews of those games on the MacBook as it shares the same GPU. Note the system memory is 1066 rather than 667 MHz so it should be faster.. CPU wise it's going to be twiddling it's thumbs with the SIMs. Sounds like a plan not to mention it can be connected to the family TV.. makes the...

does apple make a netbook ?

I remember seeing somewhere that when someone asked apple if they were making a netbook apple said that they were too small and didn't have enough power for conventional use (or something along those lines )

The hard drive is by far the slowest part of the machine, get a 7200 RPM drive - you won't regret it.

Thanks for the heads up.
But im going to Orange, the shocking lack of any 3G signal on O2 outside of town centres is annoying as hell.
My contract or my 3GS is up in November (1 month earlier thanks to spending £45 in one month) and I will be going straight to orange.

I don't (yet) own a Macbook so can't directly help. But I do have this happen to an old Asus laptop occasionally. To fix it I have to unplug the main, remove the battery, and wait for a minute or two. It then powers on fine. That's worth a try anyway.

Erm have you run boot camp assistant and at what stage do you get the error message when splitting your current partition and installing a new fat/NTFS one ?
It should be able to (assuming you have the space) take your current partition and split into two or more and then you are ready to follow how it shows you to install?

You could buy a HD separately and upgrade it yourself. It'll probably work out cheaper than upgrading with Apple
