Nvm, I adjusted some stuff and now my temps max out at around 72 degrees on hottest core, at 4011Mhz and 1.23750v. Does this sound about right to you guys?

Good score, but you know the TWKR is made to perform under extreme cooling, not under a poor Xigmatek!! I'm waiting for some ferocious competition there Although a competition on air is welcome too. I already have to get back my position, as I got beaten by two guys at SuperPI 1M... hehe... My next goal is to be under 16s on air.

One of the stick seems to be unable to get to the rated settings which is a bit of a bummer. Thankfully i have until thursday to return them within the 28day refund time Im gonna get some different sticks as i can get better RAM now for the same price I got these...anyone suggest any? Budget of £200

If you really don't care about noise get a Black Ice Xtreme 360 with 6 3000RPM Scythe UltraKaze fans. But that's gonna sound like a damn vacuum cleaner.

On single threaded apps? It depends on the processors in comparison. If someone managed to get say, get an earlier generation Intel or AMD processor (like Pentium D or comparable AMD processor) to those higher clock speeds versus a dual core E8400 or something (at the lower speed), the E8400 would outperform the earlier generation CPUs by far. This is because of the architecture (...

Your problem is that you are trying to run 2 different types of ram together. They will both have different SPD's, even though both are rated at 1066. On the vast majority of mobo's, mixing different makes of ram just will not work. There are 2 ways out of this problem. 1: You could flash both sets of ram with the same SPD. 2: Buy another set that matches one of the sets you ...

Woah! It looks soo awesome! I was never able to overclock the Athlon Neo MV-40 in my Dv2. I am downclocking and undervolting it instead, using RMClock. I gained 1h battery life to reach almost 6h. How much do you get from yours?
