Downloading the add-in is not sufficient. Did you use the installer to install it as well? If Outlook wasn't fully closed during installation, restart your computer and see if it works correctly now. Just a thought; Depending what options your ISP has on their server you could configure there to send a copy to your gmail account, then on your PC could continue using pop & your mobile gmail - you would'nt have full sycn with the two, but I guess that depends on how much use you make of mail on your phone. I would either import the pst into 2007 or add it/change to it in Data Files. Unless it is corrupt there is no reason you shouldn't be able to do either. If it is at 1.6GB's, I would assume, you may want to convert it to the current PST format as 2GB is the limit size for 97 to XP (2002) Outlook.
