I think that the bottom line is that as the AR usage increases, the price will go down. If not on a national level, perhaps on a personal one, that is, if you were to guarantee a hefty percentage increase in your usage, you can get a substantial discount.

What would really work in NYC, especially the park south, would be one of a kind hand made frames and lenses.

I think Ronco had a spray on coating at one time.

The base out prism should actually make these fairly easy to do. You can back off the OD Rx if you choose but there will still be a noticeable magnification difference between the two. I'd have no problem doing this in one of the Wiley-X frames we have here. No need for an insert, good luck!

I'm just plain fed up!
But anyway......
I am not upset with an increase in cost as long as there is an increase in performance and value. It sure is a tough sell any way that you look at it. The look on some patient's faces when you say;
"Your lenses are $135 and the Whiz Bang coating is $140!"

The short answer is no, the longer answer is well without get the right person in customer service and saying the correct words, no.
But if you're really in an "other eyecare related field", which I'd be shocked if you are, I might have a different answer, but, I'm letting you off without the Eyecare professional only warning, but I can't guarantee that you wouldn't get it from someone else.

prism power tollerences in horizontal
in the power +2.00 the following applies
>0.00and=/<2.00 +(0.25+0.1 x smax)
smax is the focal power in this case u would be allowed 0.7 prism

i suppose that is the most economical way and the easiest for everyone to handle it. otherwise you have to invest in some staff management which cost you an amount.

Yeah - I put in a call to the regional rep as soon as I saw that letter on my desk today. WTF?? That's a H-U-G-E increase on what are already pretty costly frames.

It's a great idea, but why would someone put up a site that looks like that? It's like handing in an important report on crumbled toilet paper.

Prismatic correction presupposes a binocular conflict. If the patient is complaining of blurred vision I am not completely satisfied that it is a binocular problem.
Central fusion continues up to 20/20 in one eye and 20/60 in the other eye. If the distance vision in the poorer seeing eye is less than 20/60, the central fusion is lost and peripheral fusion is what is keep the patient from ...

We are closed Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Years Day. We are open on New Years Eve, we are always busy that day with last minute people trying to get stuff with their flex money or under their insurance for the year.
