Ah, but if the Kingdom of God is within a person. It not only remains personal. It lends itself to not being deceived by those on the outside with the look it is here and look it is there. God does protect and sustain His children.

Being aware of the true "self" and those limits is to have a humble attitude. We only do what we can and anything is possible in God's power, not our own but do we acknowledge that? What was Job's attitude like in 1:5? He is an example for us to be the same. He wasn't perfect but he was well aware of his strengths and weaknesses. What about the Paul, he is an excellent example for us. He was part of the Sanhedrin a...

Dear g'dvoice,. As you so respectfully left the "o" out from the word god so to you are leaving out the fact concidering that each and every single person posting here, is sustained by that same G "O" D power, through which You, I and all here in His glorious Creation are activated by and thus judging the posts of many as what the scripture are saying,. is just that judging,.......others or a good illustration is,......

I really like this quote from Leonard Orr - "Physical immortality is not just about living longer, but about quality of life now. It is about practicing the Presence of God in your mind and body. It means to unravel the death urge and incorporate your body into the conscious life of the Eternal Spirit and experiencing your body as Energy. Energy is eternally you...thful and responsive to thought. Longevity is an effect of our quality of...

freedom- just out of Nazareth, a carpenter- How ridiculous to think that the Messiah would have such a lowly birth in a manger! Still the pride of the religious would demand a castle (something earthbound.) Too revolutionary, new, progressive, advanced in purpose, contemporary, but perhaps he conformed to what he knew was right and holy? just a word.... peace too

I have no doubt about your understanding of Islam, nor do I doubt many people's understanding of Christianity, to be of peace.
I do doubt that the leaders of those religions, teach your understanding, or even share it. Of course they say violence is wrong, but they don't teach how those people get those violent thoughts. They simply say, "oh no, that's not what our religion is about" They ...

Someone who has fallen for the big lie of original sin needs a follow-on set of rules to keep them in check because they think they are fundamentally flawed.
Someone who has been reminded that they never lost Original Innocence or never thought they did, has an innate tendency to be nice to others, and lists of rules become unnecessary.

On this particular question, I agree with the late Joseph Campbell that artists, poets, and storytellers are the prophets of their own centuries. H.G. You use so many words - which in essence means nothing at all. I am not a Christian, and I could not believe in what you have written. I don't take the Bible to be God's Word - because we have an exaggerated account, that is unreliable.
Have you ever wondered why people are turning off Christianity - more so - than being turned onto Christianity?
You can't give a single example of ...

Hi Q/S
And what are parents told to tell their children in regards to strangers?
Anything invoking materialism and idolatry is harmful, children seem to be brought off by toys and sweets, catering to the needs of business, the economy and shareholders.
It would be a lesson in being shrewd and resourceful not being involved with traditions like these.
Peace

I guess my favourites are the ones I play on my guitar - and sing along with
mostly in the privacy of my home - since mostly I sing to lift my spirits -
or In the Garden - Where the joy we share as we tarry there - none other has ever known
