I do not tip based on how my meal was prepared (I speak to management ) or how much someone thinks I should tip or how much the staff makes . I tip based on the service I receive from the Waiter/Server. My normal tip is 15%. If I receive great service then a bit more. When I don't have the money to go out to eat I stay home and cook for myself. If someone leaves you less then you think you should receive It's better then nothing....

Monibomba, Than you for the compliment. While I have never been a server, I see the "inside" as I sell wine for a living, so I spend a lot of time in restaurants, either selling them wine, or dining. Any if I ever find myself in KY, I would hope that you would be my server for lunch or dinner.

rmjw711, I have to share this experience that happened 2 weeks ago......My spouse and I went on a early road trip....planning to have breakfast along the way.....We stopped at a cute little dinner....and ordered our food....well, I can't help but notice everything.....just who I am......I was watching the cook and the cook's helper prepare the food ........OMG, I thought I was seeing things...

no you are not alone we have a five thousand dollar deductible and yes that is used up just on med's. we cut back on everything possible and i work incredible hours ( almost like having two jobs) and now work is slowing down so other wants and some needs will have to go. I really don't want the government involved because i am afraid we might not still be here. surgery could have been denied. ...
