Peter, thanks for pointing me in the right direction - it worked a treat. FYI, the following worked for me from my firefox plugins directory on OpenSolaris b127 ln -s /usr/java/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so ;-)

Hi Bill, I am not sure. Cut/Copy/Paste support for Solaris is integrated into the source code of gtk. It is not defined by some kind of configuration files. So I do not understand what happened to your system so that they do not work any more. Did you tried using /usr/X11/bin/xev to test if proper X events are generated? From the man page http://wput.sourceforge.net/wput.1.html it looks like if you generated a list of files to upload and used the --input-file option to specify the file containing that list, you could use wput. There may be other tricks with it that would work too... I haven't built wput on Solaris myself (at least I don't think I have), but I'd hope it would be reasonably...

Thank you all for you input. The problem certainly does have something to do with installing OpenHA packages and subsequently creating/removing BEs, but unfortunately it's hard to track back as the problem occurred a while back and I have upgraded to build 127 since. But I'm pretty sure the problem did not surface immediately after installing OpenHA. But then again, there is ...
