OK, we need an upper. everyone post one funny thing that happened to you this week, Lyme related or not. Mine happened last night at work. I got a call to an unfamiliar place, looked it up on the map, and set off. I promptly made every wrong turn possible and ended up 10 blocks away. So the medic asks me on the radio if I am familiar with the little street, and I said no. I told him where I was and he proceeded to give me directions from...

Here's a link to the article themadchemist http://www.lyme-rage.info/bwsept06... I have mold illness and lesions on my brain so I believe all biotoxin diseases could cause MS. What blows me away is that they say "we don't know what causes MS". Well get off your ass and do some research you moron is what I want to say. The moldies just won a big one. The GAO issued a report critical of the CDC and their use of a...

Well, needless to say my month of waiting for an appointment with a local ID went like and Abbott and Costello skit. This stupid Dr didn't even know what an L form bacteria was. She laughed in my face 4-5 times. Oh and my blurry vision, vertigo, light and sound sensitivity must have been a stroke. and Besides, Chronic lyme DOESN'T exist, we are all insane. I walked out ...

Did you know that mercury toxicity and Lyme Disease are often companions? and That most people who have Lyme Disease complicated by mercury toxicity do not experience significant improvement in their Lyme symptoms until the mercury is removed I suggest that everyone at least consider the following since the symptoms of Mercury toxicity are so close to typical Lyme symptoms that...

Is this a complication / symptom of Lyme? I look 6- 7 months pregnant, it came out of the blue- began on the 6th of the month, and here it is still the 21st of the month with no change. I was advised to go to the ER- but they pretty much laughed at me, tossed me off- even refused me a catscan. I wanted to scream at the doc- didnt- but gave him a piece of my mind. It is 2 ...

Dave has touted the use of garlic to curtail many Lyme symptoms. Since it's easier to partner when embarking on something new -- and let's just say difficult to get started --I was wondering if there are any takers. I believe 4 raw garlic cloves a day are what's required. (Dave -- please correct me if i'm wrong.) The best way to get this down would be a simple bruchetta...

I sent the following question to SNAP, the creator of the canine Lyme test. Dear Sirs, I am a 41 year old female with Chronic Lyme disease. It has been brought up in numerous questions: is there a reason that your Kit, which accurately diagnosed Lyme in one of my dogs, cannot be utilized for humans? As it stands, we must undergo costly and largely inaccurate testing, sent to only...

Hi guys, Today was an horrible day. I was at work (I am working for my father) and accidentally ordered something wrong. The business is doing bad and I find I cant concentrate with the Lymes. Its terrible being in charge of all the finances. I messed up big time and realized I placed an order that I shouldnt have for a lot of money. If this was another job I would be fired. I sat...

I don't know if this thread will go anywhere, but it's crossed my mind a couple times, so what the heck. If Lyme were put to music , what would the cover songs be? I thought with the CMA's tonight, people might be in a musical frame of mind. A couple of mine: - Lyme is on my Side (Rolling Stone's Time is on my Side) - Somewhere, Over the IV Pole (Wizard of Oz)...

I've been dealing with CFS for 40 yrs. now - something very similar to Lyme in symptoms. However, 2 yrs. ago I got very sick from a tick bits. Now I'm not sure if I recovered from the Lyme and am still dealing with CFS, or if they are co-existing together. A one/two punch is more than I can handle.
