Matchups: MoJo to the Finish The tail end of this column will be updated into Saturday. 1:00PM ET Games Indianapolis @ Buffalo The Colts set a precedent by pulling Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Joseph Addai, and Dallas Clark with a 15-10 lead and just over five minutes left in the third quarter last Sunday against the Jets. At Buffalo, it will be surprising if the aforementioned last longer than two possessions. Expect lots of Curtis Painter,...

Championship Game Indecision
Published (2009-12-26 20:56:00)
I've somehow managed to make it to the Championship Game in one of my leagues, despite Michael Turner giving me virtually no production the second half of the season. I need to start 3 RB and I have 4 to choose from. I have Jacobs, Thomas, Maurice Morris and Ahmad Bradshaw. My concern is that last week was a fluke and SF will shut down Morris, but if I don't start him, that would leave me with 2 NY Giants starting at RB. Any opinions?

More Bell-Cow!
Labor Day 2008's last-minute gems brought us an instant waiver wire star in Kurt Warner and several breakout performers such as Eddie Royal, Pierre Thomas, and Steve Slaton. This year's "Waiver Wired" debut features a possible Week 1 bell-cow in New Orleans, a pair of wildcard stashes under center, several candidates to step in as immediate assets at receiver, and a handful of...

D-Will sits out on Wednesday with knee injury DeAngelo Williams - RB - CAR - Nov. 11 DeAngelo Williams missed Panthers practice Wednesday with a knee injury.
The injury isn't known to be serious, so D-Will owners shouldn't panic yet. Jonathan Stewart (heel) also got his routine Wednesday off. Keep an eye on this situation, but both members of Carolina's "Double ...

Hester held out Friday, likely out for Sunday Devin Hester - WR - CHI - Dec. 11 Devin Hester (calf) is not expected to practice Friday and is unlikely to play Sunday against the Packers.
The Bears have not yet ruled Hester out, but it would surprising to see him play after missing three straight practices. Johnny Knox will likely move into the starting lineup, but ...

Thomas, Bell to split carries going forward? Pierre Thomas - RB - NO - Oct. 13
With Mike Bell now healthy, beat writer Jeff Duncan expects him to start splitting carries with Pierre Thomas.
We'll see. Duncan has been in Bell's corner since camp, but Thomas has a clear edge in talent and versatility. Thomas is averaging 6.4 yards per attempt while carrying the ...

I don't think this affects his fantasy value much. I also think he'll be below expectations.

Like you said Wayne & Addai got you there, but their playing status is just too iffy right now. I would lean Harrison at home against Oakland.......

Yeah I know how you feel about Turner, he killed me too and won't draft him again next year because he looks like he's going to be one of those injury prone backs.
I agree I believe you have to play Morris and not both NY Backs.....

Steven Jackson - RB - Rams Jackson to be the Rams' Westbrook
That makes sense considering new Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur was a longtime Eagles offensive assistant. Jackson will be a big threat in the passing game, even lining up in the slot and out wide at times. If healthy, he'll be among the league leaders in touches and set a career high for carries.
