This weekend is the $2500 added One Pocket event I will make my best effort to be there for the drawing and for a couple of feature matches. Mexican Johnny Vasquez was a great player, especially on 5 x 10's, and he deserves consideration in either HOF, but Johnny could not beat me playing banks when I played my best speed, and he certainly couldn't beat Chicagoans, John Cannonball lefty Chapman or New York Hank...

Evidently the Great Southern Billiard Tour's $5000 added one-pocket event will be held starting Thursday, 11/20 in Fayetteville, NC. It's limited to 64 players, but it may fill, since 72 of the heavy hitters are already there playing the 10 ball championship. I couldn't find much else posted about it. Danny DiLiberto, Grady Mathews and I, the Beard, have agreed to run a Fantasy Day Camp at Derby City. It will run about 5 hours and will consist of each of us doing an hour and 1/2 to 2 hrs each, on pool lessons, stories and socialized mingling.
