F/S: 1995-1999 Aurora OEM Floor...
Published (2009-12-27 11:28:00)
I have an original equipment floor mat set for 1995-99 Oldsmobile Aurora for sale. They are in excellent condition. These are complete with the original logo, embroidered into both front mats. All four mats are included for just $75, plus the shipping. This is a great investment in the appearance of your car....especially if you think your 1995-'99 is truly "classic". The color is a bit hard to describe. The mats are a...

Just started getting the "Check Oil Level" on the 2001. Add a quart after 3000 miles? No smoke, but did get one 'misfire' recently.

97 oldsmobile Aurora Stalls...
Published (2009-12-27 11:27:00)
I have a 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora that has a lot of trouble starting, and ends up stalling whenever it rains. The other night we were on the highway doing about 120km/h and it just gave out and would not come back on. Battery/Alternator is fine, Checked all cables and connections are tight. Everything works great when it's dry, even when it's really cold. Tried spraying water into everywhere water shouldn't be to try to replicate...

Where are the battery terminals...
Published (2009-12-28 11:27:00)
...start my car.? I know the battery is under the seat, but there are supposed to be terminals under the hood. Where? Sorry for not being more specific. Trying to use my mom's Aurora to jump start my car.

Your battery is underneath a case on the driver's side/front of the engine compartment. The positive terminal should have a red cap which you can flip back exposing a nut and bolt with a wire connector attached. This is where the red booster cable end should be attached. To attach the black cable you must find a metal area that is grounded to the body such as a strut mount or fender bolt.

95 vs 96-99 ECM
Published (2009-12-29 11:27:00)
Has anyone tried using a 96-99 ECM in thier 95 Aurora? Probably doesn't work but it doesn't hurt to throw it out there. It's interesting that the 95 is OBD1, yet has an OBD2 connector.

If you have the hood open there is a red cover just to the left of the engine, open the cover and that's the positive terminal. Negative get grounded to the engine.

I am having the same issue, on my '03 Aurora. I checked the fuse, it is not burnt out and is the correct size. I can hear a mechanical click sound when it turns off. They worked fine last year, now I am freezing my *** off every morning! Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
