I tell you what.....I would put that Hustler against anything around the dock. It is up there with the best docking boat I have ever driven. It is amazing how well it docks. I can tell that you haven't driven a boat with Arneson's, because if you would have, you wouldn't say that. I was really impressed. You can make it do whatever you want. I don't know if it is because the props are so far back or what. What I do know is...

Does anyone know or have an opinion of race gas life expectancy in barrels or in fuel tanks ? What are some of the options for buying (where to buy) good gas ? Is it legal to run race gas on the lake ? Does the insurance company care ? (the spill part of an insurance policy)

Thanks "Boost"! I have been told the same thing by a few other people, sounds like the enclosed box is the way to go, so, I will do that, the subs in the back will be pretty easy to enclose. Here is another set up that I am SERIOUSLY considering, tell me what you think: I will list some part numbers and what I am thinking of driving them with, I have measured several times and there is just NOT enough room for 10"...

yep, look at the valve springs and maybe do a leakdown,(i would consider swapping springs with those hrs). I have a pair in a 38 Donzi and they have been very trouble free with 260hrs. You mentioned drain the blocks i assume you are also topping them off with a marine storage antifreeze? The corrosion protection is very important. Keep an eye on the blower snout bearings and seals, i had heard ...

I built a set of my 925 efi's (actually 970 hp, 1075 ft lbs tq) for a 388 Slingshot Hustler with ASD 6's. The rig has 270 hrs so far and has not had any problems with any of it. I'm not sure what tranny they typically come with, but this one has Bam Super Cyborgs. The only thing I have done to the drives is to upgrade them to ASD 7's, which entails changing the tube to one with a larger skeg. I ...

On my 24 BRT which was 6.5 beam I used the longest K-planes avail and mounted in and level NOT following deadrise . I have expermented a great deal and had them in all positions , in the pic you can see what I'm talking about . With them in this postions they act like a wheelie bar and truly add 3 ft to the boat

You should open up the lines/fittings on the fuel system and a higher volume pump would be wise. Also adding boost/fuel pressure gages is a must to see whats going on. Good luck! Dave

Why would you want to externally balance it? If it is internal now just get a neutral balance flywheel and Harmonic balancer and go with it. The block does not matter if internal or external, this only refers to the rotating assembly, you can toss it in whatever block you want.
