I don't know the specs...I got it on a roll right from Formula. I can get a price from them, but it was part of the package deal. They threw the carpet in with the hefty purchase of the skins! Yes, Larry is doing that as well! Dave

Cabin Carpet In 353 Fastec
Published (2010-03-16 09:19:00)
I'm in the process of doing this in my 242. I managed to get all the carpet out minus what is under the cabinets. I see no way to get that carpet removed short of pulling the cabinets. Which I tried and they will not move. I called Formula about pulling them and the guy laughed. He said if I got them out they would not be in one piece. With mine I'm going to use Spradling Whisper Vinyl from under the seats to the floor and then...

Help with 370
Published (2010-03-16 19:48:00)
When I winterize my air and gen the RV antifreeze runs back down into the strainer after I shut them off. Then I vacuum out the strainers just for extra safety. But if after that you ran the boat with the seacocks open to the strainer(s) I bet water would run back up into the strainer.

...what does it look like under there? Are there unfinished surfaces? Any surprises, or is it as simple as removing the mounting bolts and dropping it down? I looked at mine and it looks way to easy. I don't want to get into a project to then have it mushroom into something unexpected. What feeds the exhaust into the box? Any insight is much appreciated.

Here we go. Since we have ALL added a little "Bling" to our boats, how about we share the thoughts and ideas with other owners. They are all here across the Formula Forum, but a quick overview of each specific project, and a couple of shots can't hurt! Put the model of your boat in the description, then post a brief overview of the project and include a couple of pictures to ...

I am considering buying one of the twin big block 272 sr1 boats, I like the 89,90,91 style. How are thes hulls, what should I be looking for, when buying used? Are they a wide enough beam, for 27ft? What is the better years for that era, because there are a few stock ones on line for sale between 16k and 20k

My 357 has been neglected by me for the past few years. I am now getting more time to work around the house. Took the swim pad off and now its time to do some polishing and repairs. The squirrells did not do too much damage but managed to chew the protective covers off a few wires and trim hose. Glad I found this behind one of the batteries before heading out...
