double-din dash kit that supports fold-down face? We have an '06 Odyssey w/ factory stereo (6 speaker, no Nav) and would like to install GPS/DVD receiver with 7" fold-down front panel. Are there any faceplates that will accomodate such a receiver? (Example: Pioneer AVIC Z110BT). Crutchfield carries the unit and a faceplate but states that the faceplate doesn't support fold-down receivers for this car.

One thought about the OM when trading in a car: I don't keep the owner's manual in the car, since they're pretty bulky and I want the space for other things. So I have my OMs stored in my house. When I sold an Accord a number of years ago I couldn't find the OM. I looked everywhere for days and couldn't find it. For several years I saved the address of the person I sold the car to, in case I ever came across the OM I...

Nice write up and pictures. I am one who does have the volume issue in my '07 EX-L. I've replaced the original v2 with another, but the volume is still less (about 20%, I estimate). I'm awaiting a response from Blitzsafe after their engineers supposedly test an EX-L. They have told me that they have tested the device with an EX, but not an EX-L, yet. Other than that it is a fine ...

michaelmattes---- I really don't think you have any options as far as connecting the PIE adaptor successfully. The PIE needs to be plugged into the 14-pin socket on the back of the OEM radio. Then the XM tuner output plugs into the XM. That is a very simple connection, but you do have to pull the head unit out far enough to reach back there and plug the adaptor in. Send your DW out shopping or ...

I've just installed this a week ago on my spousal units 2005 EX-L w/NAV+RES. No need for relay. All you need to do is use all of the wires provided. I believe it's diagram 2 on the last page? Brian

There are several audio/video input adapters you can buy (such as G-NET) which allow you to display external sources on your nav screen. These include dvd, backup-camera etc. Since your PC works fine on the aux-in on the RES, it should hook up easily to one of these audio/video adapters which in turn will display on your nav screen. That's a heck of a lot easier than trying to ...
