A QB that's converted to WR sounds like a fun pick in the 6-7 round range.

DE or LT with our 1st pick???
Published (2008-11-20 09:56:59)
This is one is easy. Reasons detailed below: 1. Comparative need. Our D-line while not being fantastic are OK, our O-line on the other hand, in particular the Tackles, have been awful. 2. Investment. The last two years we have invested in high picks at QB and RB as the first building blocks of a power offense, a good O-line will make their production many times better. 3. Mario Henderson. While he should be starting at the moment as he, rather...

All the draft boards I have seen on this kid show him as a wr. I could see Al going for him just because he loves these types of players. I also dont think he will go in the 1st,2nd or 3rd rnd and we need a wr he might be good to draft. They also compared hist stats to players like antwann randell el,brad smith. and I belive Josh Cribbs. What are your thoughts on him as a wr and maybe drafting him.

Andre Smith, OT, Alabama Quote: Strengths Smith is a seriously big guy for a LT and yet somehow retains all the athleticism and agility you would want from someone at that position. Regularly shuts down the top defensive ends at collegiate level. Also happens to be a very powerful run blocker who creates lots of holes for the Crimson Tide's rushing attack...

If we get an OT then he wont have to block as much. If we get a Crabtree type than he would have another threat the defense would have to worry about. I expect a near pro bowl season out of Miller......Oh wait Jamarcus is still our QB, nevermind. I kid, I kid.

looking at the past 10 years drafts, some of our best choices, have been in later rounds.. If the franchise plays the cards right, we maybe able to finally take advantage of the draft this year.. trading Asomugha (hate to but highly likely) for either 2 1st round picks, or a 1st in 2009 and maybe a few later ones? getting a top 10 pick with our record, and either using it, or...

Well some mocks that i read was that James Laurinaitis might be picked in the second round. Lets think about it the only teams that need a MLB is: Broncos:Brandon Spikes is a better pick for them. Chiefs:They will draft a DE in the 1st and maybe a MLB in the 2nd round. Dolphins:Rey Maualuga is a better pick for there 3-4. and many more but in the later rounds. ****Trades****...

I am a huge believer in that it all starts in the trenches. This is a place we really lack and we need to bolster it with some great talent. I would be perfectly happy if we just drafted O-Line and D-Line. So here is a realistic scenario in fixing the places we hurt the most: (TRADE NNAMDI FOR A 1ST, 2ND and 5TH) 1. Michael Oher LT Ole Miss 1. Duke Robinson RG Oklahoma 2. George ...

Taylor Mays, S, USC vs Rey Maualuga, MLB, USC Let's say the Raiders don't go OT in the first round... And Taylor Mays and Rey Maualuga are the two players the Raiders are interested in, who would you draft, Taylor Mays or Rey Maualuga? My vote goes to Rey. Vicious ILB. Fast, strong, hyper-aggressive. Taylor Mays is the same way but I think we need a ILB a little bit more the we need a ...
