DELAY in DataStoreCacheTest
Published (2009-12-21 13:12:00)
Andrea, I have seen you are the last editor of class DataStoreCacheTest. Sometimes the methods testRemoveDataStore and testAddDateStore fail. Looking at the methods, I see a Thread.sleep(DELAY). The DELAY = 1000ms = 1 second. I think I have the following problem here. The virtual machine uses a qcow2 file on a DRBD block device. Each write acces is a write access on a local hard disk and on a remote hard disk using tcp/ip. Since there are...

xmlcodegen and JET (for GMLSchema)
Published (2009-12-16 03:30:00)
Justin, I got JET working. (That was scary-easy.) I did however get a few differences in the generated code. The NL definitions became public (they were protected). I have attached a diff. What is your JET version? I suspect this might be the cause. I am using JET 1.0.1.v200908201022. Or did I miss a step? Kind regards, Ben. Hi Jody
That would be great ! Sing out if you need a hand testing it.
I had hoped to have the swing module, refactored and brimming with
tests, ready for 2.6.1 but paid work has squeezed out spare time work
recently. Aren't things supposed to slow down towards Christmas ?

Wow! Phenomenal work Christian!
How can people help resolve the issues. Are there open patches to
review? Or do we need to start looking at the build results to figure
out what the issues are?

Ciao Jody,
I am on a rush, therefore I'll try to make this short and I'll come
back later with more eventually.
We are still doing work on the WCS side of the world on trunk, that
specific part is more or less in place already but I don't feel
confident about backporting.
What is your hard deadline for backporting this work?
Ciao,
Simone.

I assumed I'd stuffed up but this seems to be quite unconnected to my
commit. A file locking issue while building shapefile renderer (?)

The test did not force the map to have a number of hard references equal
to the sample size, so basically it relied on the random distribution
of add/remove to never have 20 more adds than removes at any time.
The Sun boolean random ...
