The output class does not contain the input class -- or at least it didn't, since I have no idea where it's at now. I simply used the layout section of GConsole to fit this instance of GPrompt on the console page. GPrompt remains an independent class that can be used elsewhere if desired. AFAICT, the --enable-64bit configure switch only affects AIX, HP-UX, IRIX, and Solaris; it has no effect on Linux. If you want 64-bit code and the compiler defaults to 32-bit, you probably need to set CFLAGS explicitly before...

I think you have to delete all categories first, because v.category will only add a category to a vector object if none is set (that information is missing in the manual AFAICT). Or you add categories to a new layer. Markus M

Hello Michael, I really like your developments. Taking all users, beginers and power users to GRASS level 7! For test I would suggest that you may upload your changes to a DVCS site such as Launchpad, Bitbucket, Sourceforge or Github. We could safely try out your improvements without breaking our production installation. What you say? With the bazaar plugin bzr-svn you can import from the main SVN and apply your changes and then push all to...

Oh boy... That seems like a pretty big issue... My configure options for grass have 64-bit enabled, so shouldn't that set it up to look for all 64-bit architecture? The contents of /etc/ld.so.conf.d/ are libc.conf and x86_64-linux-gnu.conf. The firs contains " # libc default configuration /usr/local/lib ", and the second contains " # Multiarch support /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu...

Michael,
Great to have that bug finally fixed. Helmut should be putting another
