Hey guys, i know this might be a little off the subject, but is there anything, other than a steroid, that will help me grow (height wise). I figured you guys know a lot about this stuff so im leaving it up to you. Is there like a drink that i can take, or food that i can eat, that is sure to help me grow. I turned 14 in march and im 5'4" and 3/4, if that helps.

i am not completely sure... but I would say that you should not count on it for muscle mass. get your protein from meat, eggs, milk, cheese, whey, and fish.
also, i would suggest that a bowl of pasta before bed will put on weight, but likely fat, as your body will not be burning it up. if you dont want to put on fat, then tey 1 cup 1% cottage cheese with 1/2 tbsp flax oil and 1 cup skim ...

BMI and FDA guidelines aren't accurate. There's lots of fallacy's associated with BMI and FDA guidelines, everyone has different body characteristics such as bodyfat%.
That is a more accurate guide to go by. For example, you could have a 6' person weigh 200lbs at 10% compared to a 6' person weihing 200lbs and at 18%. It's all about muscle composition as well and BMI and FDA guidelines don't ...

If your just interested in losing the fat on your stomach then cardio andcrunches are the way to go. Do 6 sets of crunches 2-3 times a week. Youneed to also do cardio at least 5-6 times a week. I'm not telling you to goall out on the treadmill, but instead, you can do some low intensity cardioon the treadmill, or bike. Go get yourself a heart rate monitor and makesure you stay in the 130-140 bpm ...

what should one eat after an intense cardio session? usually before i do strength training i have strong coffee, a cup of grape juice, and amino pills. post workout i eat several amino pills with some dextrose. about 45 minutes later i have a protein shake, flax oil and a multi vitamin. how does cardio training differ, if at all?
