I hope I'm posting this in the right place, this forum is humongous. I've been doing caridio (Taebo and Turbo Jam) and the New York ballet training for close to 4 months now. I also do the weight thing (I used to think I'd bulk up but I love it, got me toned fast). So, now I wanted to add running or jogging to all of this. Swap two days of cardio for two days of jogging....

Yeah it sounds like water is the no 1 problem there. Maybe find a route you can run along that has regular public restrooms or something heh :P

Wanting to lose weight is a very widespread desire. Indeed, it is so easy to gain weight! Strangely, even if the desire to lose weight is so popular, it is not always easy to know how to do. There are dozens of methods of weight loss , each claiming the right and even more coming in conflict with the others! What Happens Next? What technique of...

I use a machine called "Armpower", it's basically cycling with your hands, as part of a routine which involves equal time on a normal exercise bike and a cross trainer. The idea being that the armpower works out the upper body , normal exercise bike the lower body and cross trainer a bit of both.
Now the armpower thing only seems to burn half the amount of calories as the other ...

I've never really used a pre-packaged program.
However, the marketing on that product is insanely well done. Almost makes me want to buy it!
If you take that route, let me know what kind of results you get.

No the calorie numbers on the machines aren't accurate, especially if you don't input your weight and it doesn't measure your heart rate . The numbers they provide are only guidelines.
The only way to get a reasonably close calculation of calories burned is to monito your heart rate and then use that in calculation with your weight, and the time exercised, to get an estimate of ...

Welcome.
I'll jump right into the subject here: The sad fact is that you can't spot lose fat . You have to lose it all over and let your body shift thins around as it will. The truth is that most people, but especially women often lose belly/hip fat last.
If you're losing weight in your arms and thighs, then that's a good sign .. you just need to keep it up until everything ...

No.
You should though, theres lots of benefits that go beyond weight loss . You also probably want to add in a strength training program if you are able (even body weight exercises are better than nothing). Diet is the most important factor to fat loss, but exercise helps and even for thin people its not healthy to ignore exercise.
Look at all the success stories in Before ...

I've been waiting for someone to mention these since the BL is using them.
I think they're pretty neat. I know some prominent coaches in the industry use them.
If you're looking for precise calculations... don't bother.
If you're alright with ballparks, it will certainly give you a rough guestimate..
I heard you have to purchase a subscription to their website to view the data ...

The thought of running around with a garbage bag under your shirt has me in stitches! I'm not a huge expert on running, but I'm assuming the idea is to force you to sweat a lot. There isn't much of a point in doing that unless you want to temporarily rid yourself of extra "water weight" for a weigh-in. But then you'd have to drink back all that water to avoid dehydration, so I don't see the ...

That's...a little odd. My immediate reaction would be to suspect something along the lines of heat stroke, especially if it's a very warm day and you haven't been drinking much water. Maybe a circulation thing? I honestly wouldn't have any other clue as to what it might be though (and that's with mighty Google at my fingertips).

First you have to eliminate all your junk foods. Substitute it with healthy foods. Calculate your daily maintenance calories and eat 500 cals less. Eat 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day.Do regular cardio and weight training.
