Fixed the problem last night with the help of HP tech support. The girl remotely connected and turned of schedulemanager (think that's what it was called) in the task manager. Now when it boots into windows, none of the things that are set to run on startup (like steam and Yahoo messenger) startup automatically. Oh well. Least it's running okay. Better back everything up in case it poops out for any reason.

I swear there are dozens of threads like this. But nevertheless... I use Opera for most of my internet usage , because it is very fast, has many features that I find essential built-in with no need for addons that slow down a browser, is secure, and has the interface that takes up the least screen real estate while still maintaining high usability and features. I've noticed with the Synaptics touchpad/mouse, one function often directly relates to some of the others -- so that you have to carefully select ALL of the functions to get the touchpad and mouse to work exactly as you want them to. Here's what I have for my settings, and I can scroll easily, (up and down and side-to-side) without clicking on my window: Right click Desktop to open ...

If you have a tablet PC, it becomes even more compelling, but even without it, it's a great tool If you didn't get rid of the "OneNote 2007 Guide" notebook (look along the left side of the OneNote window for it) it has a great, ...
